Pinterest has opened Programmatic Deals to enterprise advertisers in selected markets, allowing them to buy some of its display and video inventory through media-buying platforms they already use. The October 26 announcement names Magnite as the primary supply-side partner and lists Amazon Ads DVA+, Google's Display & Video 360 and Yahoo DSP among the buying routes.

The company notice says the service is available in North America, South America and Asia Pacific. It directs interested advertisers to their Pinterest sales representative. This is selected inventory offered through partner systems, rather than an announcement that every Pinterest ad format or every country is covered.
What has changed since the Amazon partnership
Pinterest first announced third-party ad demand with Amazon in April 2023. At the time, Amazon was its first partner and the company described a rollout beginning later that year. The new announcement broadens the routes into that inventory: buyers can include Pinterest in media plans managed through several demand-side platforms.
For a marketing team, the distinction is between where an ad is bought and where it appears. A demand-side platform handles buying; the supply-side connection makes publisher inventory accessible. This sits within the wider programmatic advertising market. It does not mean advertisers have acquired a new Pinterest account feature for editing organic posts.
Buying access and creative tools do different jobs
Pinterest's visual-search ads and Restyle tools concern the discovery and creative side of the platform. The later Barbie DreamHouse addition to Restyle was another consumer-facing creative change. Programmatic Deals addresses the route advertisers use to purchase selected placements.
Pinterest cites results from an earlier customer campaign in support of the launch. Those are company-reported examples, not a forecast for a new buyer. The practical questions remain which inventory and markets a proposed deal includes, and how its results will be measured alongside the rest of that advertiser's campaign.
