LinkedIn is rolling out a creator dashboard while testing ways for members to earn from videos and professional advice. The dashboard is headed to members globally over the coming weeks. The money-making options have narrower entry rules, so finding the new dashboard will not mean an account has joined a revenue programme.

According to LinkedIn's October 15 announcement, the dashboard puts analytics, drafts, scheduled posts and published content in one place. Members can reach it from their profile on mobile. It is a management tool for the professional network, rather than a payment switch.
Can any creator earn from video ads?
Not under the announced test. In-Stream Ads is starting with selected US creators and advertisers. Eligible videos can carry pre-roll advertising, with creators sharing in the revenue. LinkedIn has not announced a universal payout rate or opened participation to every member.
Advice Sessions is a different transaction: a person books time with a professional, rather than an advertiser paying to reach a video audience. LinkedIn's creator product update says eligible US Premium Business and Premium All-in-One members can offer free or paid one-to-one sessions, with booking, payment and video hosting handled through the service.
Choosing a route to income
Brand work remains another route. The invitation-only Creator Marketplace, covered in our report on LinkedIn's creator discovery filters, connects creators with businesses. It is not the same programme as the new pre-roll test.
For a publisher, these are separate decisions: use the dashboard to organise work, check invitation and location rules for ads, or offer bookable expertise if eligible. Production improvements such as editable video captions on X help prepare a post; they do not establish eligibility for LinkedIn payments. Neither does the dashboard itself.
